Habitat for Humanity South Palm Beach County had a home dedication on June 28th - the home owner is Latoya Roberts and her children Daiza & Janyla. The home is located at 236 NE 12th Ave. Boynton Beach. Hundreds of volunteers and Latoya and her family made it become a reality! Congrats Latoya! Welcome to the neighborhood!
This year habitat will close on 7 homes. There will not be any construction during July or August due to heat and hurricane season. See you all in the fall!!
Habitat has a grant funded 2 year position available as a Volunteer /Community Coordinator to work Tuesday - Saturday at a salary of $32,000. Resumes and references will be accepted until July 10th at ggraves@hfhboca.org.
FAU Campus chapter for Habitat has just started They have a President, VP, Sec., Treasurer, historian, Advocacy Chair, Building Chair, Education Chair, and Fund Raising Chair. They are hosting the Annual/Meeting Celebration on Monday July 20th at the Campus Senate Chambers. They are also working on a Sept. 9th fund raising event for Delray. Also they have tickets available for the upcoming "Night of Laughter with Harland Williams" at the Improv Comedy Club at City Place - West Palm Beach $20.00 for 2 normally $30.00.
